"I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60702645) located in the Seattle Metropolitan area. I received my Master’s of Education in Community Counseling from Seattle University and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts with a focus on Criminal Justice Studies from San Francisco State University. I also studied Healthcare and Education Policy at the University of Uppsala in Sweden.”
I have professional experience working within both the community and the criminal justice system, and have a particular interest in mental health and young adults. Throughout my professional career, I have observed that the transitions, decisions, and challenges facing young adults are unique and can seem overwhelming; as these choices can have a lasting and sometimes permanent impact. I have extensively studied this developmental stage, and I am well versed in providing services tailored to address the individual needs and hardships that my clients wish to overcome.
I have experience facilitating treatment groups, and with conducting individual therapy sessions in both the community mental health sector and in a private practice setting. The majority of my work focus on working with teenagers and young adults. I am a regular guest lecturer in the Seattle University Graduate Counseling Program and have presented at various conferences throughout the State of Washington
